In May 2018, Pharrell and adidas unveiled their collaborative four-sneaker 'China Exclusive' pack of NMD Hu Trail silhouettes, in which each colorway was inspired by a natural element. The ‘Peace’ variant, inspired by water, features a Primeknit upper dyed blue and supported by a white TPU cage and matching inserts on a Boost midsole. Large embroidered ‘PEACE’ lettering runs down the right shoe, while the left reads the same in Chinese characters. The sneaker was released alongside ‘Youth,’ ‘Happy’ and ‘Passion’ colorways.
